Welcome to the PC Secure Troubleshooting Help Guide. This page provides step- by-step solutions for common technical issues and frequently asked questions to help you resolve problems quickly.

1. Installation Issues Problem: PC Secure Antivirus won’t install Solution:

  • Ensure your system meets these requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10 or higher

  • RAM: Minimum 2 GB

  • Disk Space: Minimum 500 MB free

  • Disable other antivirus or security software temporarily

  • Right-click the installer and select Run as Administrator


2. License Activation Problems Problem: “Invalid License Key” or “Key Already Used” Solution:

• Double-check for typos or spacing errors

• Ensure internet connectivity for activation

• Contact support if key was purchased from an authorized reseller and is not working

3. Scanning or Detection Issues Problem: PC Secure isn’t detecting malware Solution:

• Open the app > Settings > Check for Updates

• Run a Full System Scan instead of a Quick Scan

• Ensure real-time protection is turned ON

4. System Slowdown or High CPU Usage Problem: PC running slow after installation Solution:

• Switch from Deep Scan to Smart Scan in settings

• Avoid running other antivirus software in parallel

• Schedule scans during off-hours

5. Update Failures

Problem: Unable to update virus definitions Solution:

• Check internet connectivity

• Disable proxy/VPN temporarily

• Reboot and try Settings > Update Now again

• If update server error persists, contact support

6. Software Not Responding or Won’t Open Problem: Antivirus won’t launch Solution:

• Reboot your system

• Check for pending Windows updates

• Reinstall the latest version of PC Secure from our official site

7. Uninstallation Problems Problem: Can’t uninstall PC Secure Solution:

• Go to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program

• Select “PC Secure Antivirus” and uninstall

• Use Safe Mode if normal uninstall fails

• Download our official Uninstall Utility if needed

8. Transferring License to a New Device Steps:

  • Deactivate your license in the PC Secure settings on your old device

  • Install PC Secure on your new computer

  •  Use the same license key to activate
